We are seeking to appoint an Artistic Director to support our brand new Montaigne Performing Arts Weekend School here at Notre Dame School! Our Academic and Extra Curricular Drama & Performing Arts plays a fundamental role in our whole school from Year 7 to Sixth form School and we are delighted to be expanding our exemplary provision. Our Montaigne Performing Arts Programme, a significant development in our School’s creative history, is designed for every girl who loves theatre. Whether she is drawn to the stage, the camera or the lighting rig, this programme celebrates every role. As part of our broad and creative curriculum, we are proud to be further developing our opportunities to rival any other school. Our New School offers High-quality training in the “triple threat” disciplines: Singing, Acting, and dancing. The Sessions will be delivered weekly by specialist staff in our 370-seat, professional-level Montaigne Theatre and Studio. Our students will deliver termly performances and showcases for parents and guests, with opportunities to participate in local festivals and competitions. You will be an accomplished leader in the performing arts, with energy and enthusiasm to lead the school to success, and a genuine passion for inspiring young people. Key responsibilities are: Lead curriculum design and oversee teaching quality, ensuring the structured progression of the students, whilst keeping our high educational standards Direct rehearsals and productions, managing casting, performance quality, and artistic delivery Lead and manage staff, supporting recruitment, development, and a collaborative team culture Ensure safeguarding, operations, communication, and strategic growth to maintain a safe, high-performing programme
