Art Teacher (KS3–KS5: IGCSE, A Level & IB Diploma Programme)We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and imaginative Art Teacher to join the creative heart of Queen's College. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to teach across the full breadth of the school. This role is ideally suited to a practising educator who can inspire curiosity and ambition in young artists at every stage of their development from Year 7 to Sixth Form.
Teaching SpecificationsEssentialA good honours degree in Fine Art, Art & Design, or a closely related discipline.
A PGCE or recognised qualified teacher status for secondary education.
A minimum of two years' successful secondary teaching experience, ideally within a UK or British international school context.
Proven experience teaching IGCSE Art & Design, with a strong track record of examination results.
The ability to teach confidently and inspiringly across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A clear commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
DesirableExperience teaching A Level Art & Design and/or IB Diploma Programme Visual Arts (SL and/or HL), with familiarity with course structure, the Comparative Study, Process Portfolio, Exhibition and examination requirements.
Experience managing IB Internal Assessments, moderation, academic integrity processes and predicted grades.
IB professional development (Category 2 or 3 workshops).
An active personal artistic practice, bringing authenticity and creative energy to the classroom.
Previous experience in an international or multilingual school environment.
Right to work in the EU (desirable but not essential).
