About Us: EK Outreach Services is a specialist provider of one-to-one teaching for students who are unable to access mainstream school environments due to medical, emotional, or learning difficulties. We work with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing individualised support to meet their specific learning needs. As a trusted SEND provider, we offer tailored educational support to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve academic success. Our goal is to offer high-quality education, giving students the tools and confidence to succeed despite the challenges they face in traditional educational settings. Our holistic approach ensures that students receive not only academic guidance but also emotional and social support, fostering both personal and educational growth. Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Animal Care Teacher to deliver one-to-one lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and support students who are unable to attend mainstream schooling, helping them engage with studies through tailored and accessible lessons. Lessons will take place online, however the right candidate must be located within the UK. Lessons will commence in September. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualised Animal Care lessons that are aligned with the student's academic level and learning objectives. Teach a range of topics up to BTEC or equivalent levels. Ability to promote animal care/handling understanding, engagement and motivation in students. Remain patient and flexible in the approach to learning by adapting lesson content and teaching methods to support students with SEND and other learning challenges. Implement and maintain safety protocols for all farm/animal related activities, ensuring that students understand and adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
