After School Assistant

12.5 hours per week, term time only

Monday to Friday 3.30pm - 6.00pm

Actual salary: £7,286 per annum (28.44% FTE)

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable After School Assistant to join our wraparound childcare team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children in a safe, welcoming environment before and after the school day to enable us to support families outside of school hours.

Our very popular school educates children from pre-school through to Year 2 and is part of the Oak Multi Academy Trust.

The role involves supervising children aged 3 to 11 years, helping to provide engaging play and learning activities, supporting snack time, and ensuring children’s wellbeing and safety at all times.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with children and helping them thrive.
• Can contribute to a friendly, supportive team.
• Is reliable, organised, and committed to safeguarding children.

Previous experience in a school, childcare, or play work setting is desirable, but training and support will be provided.
