About this role

The Duke of York’s Royal Military School is excited to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Admissions Assistant to join its thriving Admissions and Marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in welcoming and supporting prospective families on their journey to joining the School, while contributing to admissions events, enrolment processes, and the smooth day-to-day running of a busy department. With increasing demand from families wishing to join the School, this newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, growing team and contribute to an exceptional admissions experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Head of Admissions and Registrar, including diary management and confidential tasks. Act as a main contact for prospective families, responding to enquiries by phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person. Support families through the admissions process from first enquiry to enrolment, ensuring a positive experience. Maintain and update student databases and records accurately, ensuring GDPR compliance. Help organise and support admissions and marketing events, such as open mornings and private tours. Coordinate communication and processes with internal teams (e.g., boarding, finance, academic, pastoral) for new and existing students. Assist with admissions reporting, student transition processes, scholarship applications, and provide team cover when needed.
