This is a senior leadership position responsible for designing and overseeing a high-quality academic pathway that prepares students for entry into leading international universities, particularly within the American higher education system. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the American curriculum and university preparation programmes, including Advanced Placement (AP), STEM-focused pathways, and internationally recognised entrance preparation courses such as SAT, IELTS, GMAT, and related college-readiness programmes. The Academic Director will play a central role in curriculum development, academic quality assurance, student progression planning, university preparation, and staff leadership within the programme. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic development and implementation of the Denla Pre-College Programme Design and oversee an academically rigorous curriculum aligned with international university entry requirements Develop pathways incorporating: American curriculum standards Advanced Placement (AP) courses STEM-focused learning SAT, IELTS, GMAT, and other university preparation programmes Ensure academic quality, assessment standards, and programme compliance Recruit, support, and evaluate teaching staff within the programme Monitor student progress and academic outcomes Work closely with university counsellors and external institutions to strengthen progression opportunities Support marketing and student recruitment initiatives for the programme Collaborate with the wider Senior Leadership Team on strategic planning and school improvement initiatives Build partnerships with universities, educational organisations, and external providers where appropriate Essential Qualifications
