Duties
Deliver personalised tutoring sessions to students preparing for independent school entrance exams, focusing on areas such as verbal reasoning, mathematical reasoning, and written assessments.
Develop customised lesson plans tailored to each child's learning style and specific needs.
Provide mentorship and encouragement to build students' confidence and motivation.
Assess students’ progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Support students with organisational skills and exam techniques to optimise their performance.
Maintain a positive, supportive environment that fosters learning and growth.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and areas for improvement.
Skills
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children or young learners.
Strong understanding of working with children, including those with special educational needs.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
