1:1 Teaching Assistants

The working hours for these roles are expected to be 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. The start date for this role is 01 September 2026. About the role As a One-to-One Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff, the SEND team and pastoral colleagues to provide personalised support throughout the school day. Your role will be instrumental in helping a student engage successfully in learning, develop independence and build the confidence and resilience needed to flourish both academically and personally. You will: Provide high-quality one-to-one support within lessons and around the school. Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs and promote engagement. Encourage independence while providing appropriate levels of support. Build positive, trusting relationships with students, families and colleagues. Support the student's emotional wellbeing, confidence and personal development. Work collaboratively with teachers and specialists to implement personalised support strategies. Contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment. Maintain accurate records where required and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and confidentiality.
