I’m a full-time Scottish secondary teacher and digital lead at my school, teaching Modern Studies and still learning as I go. My main focus is supporting teachers who are new to EdTech or AI, helping quiet learners build confidence, and making digital tools work in real classrooms like mine. I’m aim to keep things practical, inclusive, and rooted in curiosity. I’ve contributed to The AI Classroom by Dan Fitzpatrick and presented at his first Back to School online conference in 2024. I’ve spoken at both online and in-person events, and I run a blog, AI with Aileen, where I share classroom-tested insights to support EdTech sceptics and beginners. I’m also one of the five co-founders of EduGuardians, a global network of educators advocating for the ethical and practical use of AI in education. I’m not a full-time or paid consultant. I offer support on a voluntary basis, as I work full-time in a school. So while I can’t sneak away much during term time, I’m always happy to help however I can.
