Baasit Siddiqui has worked across the education sector for over fifteen years. From his early days teaching and supporting young people with diverse needs in state schools, to helping hundreds of aspiring teachers build the evidence required to achieve QTS, he has focused on practical, high-impact pedagogy. He then moved on to design and deliver outreach programmes and competitions with universities, businesses, and government partners, bringing real-world learning into classrooms across the UK. Baasit is the founder of Siddiqui Education and the creator of Let’s Thrive, a programme that boosts pupils’ wellbeing and employability by developing the Seven Cs to Thrive: Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, Compromise, Community, Courage, and Curiosity. He also manages the Value for Schools website, which connect educators, families, and young people with high-quality resources. As an education consultant and professional speaker, he delivers CPD for staff and assemblies for students, and continues to refine practical tools, such as the Passports to Thrive and celebration frameworks, that help schools evidence character development and raise aspiration. In addition, Baasit advises education and edtech partners on widening participation, digital literacy, and oracy, and collaborates with schools and multi-academy trusts on strategies to improve attendance, staff morale, and community engagement. Baasit has hosted, keynoted and supported multiple events across the education space, using his unique platform as one of 'the Siddiquis' on the BAFTA and NTA Award winning show Gogglebox. He uses this platform to champion the fantastic work being done by educators to serve underserved children.
