Dr Nicole Ponsford FCCT FRSA is Founder and CEO of the Global Equality Collective (GEC), a global community of over 13,000 educators and inclusion leaders and creators of the award-winning GEC Platform, which supports schools and organisations to measure and strengthen inclusion, belonging and wellbeing through ethical, intersectional data for inclusion. An award-winning Advanced Skills Teacher, examiner and former national Achievement Coach with Achievement for All, Nicole has contributed to major national programmes including the Department for Education EdTech Demonstrator Programme and the Assistive Technology Programme. She is Co-Head of Education at Microlink, where she champions accessible learning through assistive technology and AI, and serves on the techUK AI in Education and EdTech Board. Nicole is a Harvard-published author, lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, and Fellow in Data Sciences with the Institute for Equity. She is a frequent keynote speaker and panellist at major national education events including BETT and the Schools & Academies Show, and was named BESA Person of the Year 2025 and one of Europe’s Top 50 Women in Tech (#InspiringFiftyEurope). Her doctoral research introduced Kaleidoscopic Data, a framework designed to surface lived-experience insight and help leaders drive intentional inclusion across education systems internationally.
