Emma Darcy is an education consultant specialising in AI and digital strategy, working with schools and trusts across the country. She is able to advise at both trust and senior leadership team level and engage with learners of all ages, ensuring digital strategy translates into real impact for young people. She has also produced online courses on AI leadership, safeguarding and digital skills for organisations such as The Key and The National College. Alongside her consultancy, Emma works part-time as Director of Technology for Learning at Denbigh High School in Luton, an EdTech 50 school and a UNESCO Digital Strategy Best Practice Case Study. Previously, Emma spent ten years as Director of Technology for Learning at Chiltern Learning Trust, where her work culminated in the Trust winning the 2024 MAT Excellence Award for Digital Innovation. Her leadership in digital transformation has been widely recognised - in 2021, she joined the BETT Advisory Board and won the Gold Pearson National Teaching Award for Digital Innovator of the Year, in 2023, Denbigh received the Edufuturists Award for Secondary School of the Year and Emma herself won the Global EdTech Award for Most Impactful Senior Member of Staff. She also contributes to the wider EdTech community as a Trustee for Apps For Good, a Workstream Lead for the A.I. in Education initiative, a member of the Digital Futures Group and as part of the University of Glasgow Digital Citizenship Project.
