I’m the Head of Teaching, Learning, and Digital at Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT), where I help make learning better for both teachers and students. My team - made up of Learning Coaches and Learning Technologists (of former students) - focuses on using technology and coaching to improve teaching in real, practical ways. At BCoT, we’ve been recognised for this work, winning awards like the 2018 TES FE Award for ‘Outstanding Use of Technology’ and the 2024 and 2025 Google Awards for Impact and Collaboration for leading AI integration in education. I support DfE innovation projects in education, work as a consultant and keynote speaker, and train teachers across the UK. Between May 2023 and July 2024, I delivered AI training to 4,500+ educators in the UK and Estonia. I’m also a Google for Education Champion, and 2 x National Teaching Awards Winner My ‘Why’ is: To empower educators with confidence, capability, and connection through empathy, technology, and coaching So that they can create more impactful, engaging, and future-ready learning experiences for their students. 😎
